CMT TERMS OF USE

(Last updated: March 2009).

THIS IS AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND MICROSOFT.
These Terms of Use (“TOU”) are an agreement between you and Microsoft Corporation (“Microsoft” or “we”).  This TOU governs your participation in and use of the Conference Management Toolkit only.  The Conference Management Toolkit  which is operated by Microsoft (or its affiliates), involves a conference management service comprised of various software application(s), the CMT website (cmt.research.microsoft.com) where you will be able to interact with other participants (“Website”), registration guidelines, servers, pages, services and other information and/or things accessible from or contributed to it (collectively, the "CMT”).  CMT allows you as a user or author (“Author”) to submit documents, papers and other files to the CMT to be downloaded and/or reviewed by  reviewers assigned by the Administrator to review the submissions (collectively “Reviewers”). Reviewers may submit their reviews of these documents to the CMT to enable Administrators to decide which submissions should be accepted for the conference.  Administrators are people who administer the CMT website, and program committee chairpersons who customize and control the workflow of the conference (“Administrators”).  CMT also allows one or more Administrator to view the documents and reviews. This TOU does not govern your use of other Microsoft products, services or web sites.

Your participation in or use of CMT is conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices of this TOU, the Privacy Statement and the registration guidelines.   Although you will be asked to affirmatively accept this TOU when you register as a participant in the CMT, your participation in the CMT constitutes your acceptance of this TOU without modification.  Microsoft reserves the right to update the TOU at any time in its discretion without notice to you. The most current version of the TOU can be reviewed by clicking on the "Terms of Use" hypertext link located at the bottom of the CMT website.   You are responsible for regularly reviewing this TOU for any changes.  Your participation in or use of CMT after the effective date of such changes shall constitute your continuing acceptance of this TOU, as amended from time to time.  THIS TOU CONTAINS DISCLAIMERS OF WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY LISTED BELOW IN UPPERCASE FONT. THESE PROVISIONS FORM AN ESSENTIAL BASIS OF OUR  AGREEMENT.
